For unconventional cargo, such as coal, ore, grain, steel, machinery and equipment, engineering vehicles and power equipment, and other unconventional and oversized cargo, they cannot be loaded by ordinary containers and special containers, but can only be loaded by bulk carriers (bulkcargo ship) Transportation is collectively referred to as breakbulk transportation.
Breakbulk transport terms
Since the carriage of breakbulk ships is all unconventional cargo, there are different service terms for different cargo shippers and consignees.

If the price terms we sign with our customers are CFR FO, we are not responsible for unloading the goods.
(B) LO=Liner Our pipe unloading
If the price terms we sign with the customer are CFR LO, we are responsible for unloading the goods.
(C) FIO=Free IN/Out, regardless of loading or unloading

Bulk cargo billing
Different from the standardized charges for containers, bulk cargo needs to be priced based on the basic conditions of the cargo. Shipowners generally entrust a third-party surveyor to measure the cargo and issue a report. The final data of the cargo is calculated by a third-party. Feet shall prevail and shall be used as the shipping company’s charging basis. For large goods, the settlement unit is generally w/m (volume to weight ratio) or single piece charge. The following is the basic information of the goods required.
(1) Product name (Chinese/English)
(2) Detailed cargo data size and weight (the cargo owner must ensure that the data is accurate, otherwise the loading will not be successful)
(3) Pictures of the goods (mark the lifting points and operating methods of the goods)
(4) Shipping time, place of shipment and port of destination (since breakbulk shipping is not a fixed liner, the port of departure needs to be determined based on the basic situation of the goods)
(5) Transportation terms (such as FLT full liner terms)
