Shipping export operation process
1. Taking orders
After accepting the client’s power of attorney, review the content of the power of attorney and confirm the entrusted matters.
2. Booking
Prepare a power of attorney to book space with the shipping company and obtain the shipping company’s allocation receipt.
3. Making boxes
The fleet obtains the equipment handover form and extracts containers from the yard to load at the customer’s factory. Or the customer can directly deliver the goods to the designated yard or warehouse.
4. Customs declaration
After preparing complete customs declaration documents, the export customs declaration will begin. After passing the customs review, the goods will be released.
5. Bill of Lading Confirmation
Prepare the bill of lading according to the power of attorney and confirm with the customer to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the bill of lading content.
6. Paid
Confirm the expense invoice with the customer and collect relevant fees.
7. Sign a document
According to customer requirements, issue a bill of lading and mail it to the customer.
8. Return customs declaration form
After one month of export customs declaration, the customs declaration form will be returned to the customer for tax refund verification.
9. Destination Port Exchange Bill of Lading
After the goods arrive at the destination port, the shipping company notifies the consignee to exchange the bill of lading.
10. Customs declaration and pickup
After preparing complete customs declaration documents, import declaration will begin, and the goods will be picked up after customs review and release.
Precautions for sea export operations
1. The Chinese product name displayed on the customs declaration form must be verified for consistency based on the customs commodity code, and the required customs declaration documents must be processed and provided according to regulatory conditions.
2. All customs declaration documents must ensure that the information is consistent with each other.
3. Customs may inspect the declared goods to determine if their condition matches the information declared on the customs declaration.
4. During the peak shipping season, ships are prone to overloading, and declaration procedures should be completed in advance to prevent being dumped by shipping companies.
5. The issuance of original bills of lading must ensure that each original bill of lading is signed and stamped.
